紡織城 Weaving

這是一個講述西安一座大型紡織城隨著時代的變遷正面臨拆除，被迫推出歷史舞臺之際，那些曾伴隨紡織城經歷過各種歷史變革的家庭在即將失去工作，失去家園時的掙扎和選擇。
紀錄片將圍繞幾十年前由紡織城老職工搭造的「自建村」為背景，關注即將被拆遷的自建村中幾乎典型家庭的命運和幾代人之間的矛盾與情感。
WEAVINGis a feature documentary about guilt and forgiveness in a family tragedy. The story follows a historian YANG researching in a weaving district over a one-year demolition process. It is one of the last remaining factory communities from the beginning of industrial era in 1950's China. The Soviet style architecture and the old residents here are true remnant of the past, in contrast to what China has become today. The story begins as Yang returns to the weaving district in search of its past and his own family memories.
Director WANG Yang was raised in the Weaving District. As he is watching the closure of the weaving factory, he also sees that the ragged curtains of Communist industrialism are being drawn. In making WEAVING, WANG is trying to understand how these memories have shaped his generation and how they will continue to do so for years to come.

從2011年3月CNEX介入該專案至今，我們幾次調整拍攝方案、拍攝計畫及預算。目前影片還處於前期調研與拍攝階段。
