CNEX Documentary Film Festival 2008 is going to take place in Taipei from December 19th to 28th this year! >> schedule
This Festival is organized by CNEX Foundation, a newly-established non-profit organization which aims to promote the documentary film literacy among Chinese societies.
The 10-day Festival will present about 50 films on the specific theme - "Dreams and Hopes". Under the theme, we will feature all the films based on the following subjects:
- Dreams of Children
- Dreams of Countries and Cities
- Dreams of Music
- Dreams of Travel
- Human Dreams of Defying Gravity (e.g. Flying, Extreme Sports)
- Global Dreams for A Better Tomorrow (e.g. Global Warming, War, Environment Protection, HIV, LOHAS, etc.)
We welcome feature-length doc films as well as short pieces. Experimental, poetic, and animated documentary are welcomed as well and will be featured in a special side-bar “Doc2” in Festival. We plan to tour this Festival to Beijing in early 2009.
